30032025q1-2.104 "Ra'ina"

O you who have believed, say not, "Rāʿinā" but say, "Unẓurnā" and listen. And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.

30032025q1-2.109 "Forgive and Overlook"

"So, forgive and overlook till Allah brings out His command." (2:109) "Maka beri maaflah mereka dan biarkanlah, sehingga Allah menunjukkan kuasaNya." فَ (fa) → ""Then" ٱعْفُوا۟ (ʿfu) → "Pardon" or "Forgive" (from the root ع-ف-و ʿa-f-w, meaning to erase, forgive, or overlook). This verb is in the imperative (command) form, addressing people to forgive others. وَ (wa) → "And"  ٱصْفَحُوا۟ (ṣfaḥū) → "Overlook" or "turn away graciously" (from the root ص-ف-ح ṣ-f-ḥ, meaning to turn away, pardon, or let go). Also in the imperative form, meaning to ignore offenses without seeking revenge. حَتَّىٰ (ḥattā). "Until" (indicating a time limit or condition). يَأْتِىَ (ya'tī) → ""He brings" (from the root أ-ت-ي ʾ-a-t-y, meaning to come or bring).  ٱللَّهُ (Allāhu)...

30032025q1-2.36 "Enjoyment"

"On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time." مُسْتَقَرٌّ (mustaqarrun) ق-ر-ر (Q-R-R) The root قَرَّ (qarra) conveys meanings related to stability, settling, rest, coolness, or permanence.  مَتَاعٌ (matāʿ) م-ت-ع (M-T-ʿ) The root مَتَعَ (mataʿa) conveys meanings related to enjoyment, benefit, utility, and provision.

And splendid companions, well matched (78.33) A provision for you and for your cattle. (79.33) Then as for those who transgressed and preferred the worldly life. Then indeed, Hellfire will be his refuge. Whereas for the one who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained his self from the desire. Then indeed, Paradise will be his refuge. (79.37-41) On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed no more than one evening or one morning. (79.46) and then made the course of life easy for him (80.20) Yet man does not fulfil God’s commands (80.23) and cause the soil to split open (80.26) all this as a provision for you and your cattle (80.32) Mankind, what has lured you away from God. Who created you, fashioned you, and perfected your design. Moulding you in whatever form He willed? (82.6-8) Woe to those that deal in fraud. Those who take full measure when they buy from people, but give less when they measure or weigh for buyers. (83.1-3) whose last sip will smell like m...

Who created death and life in order to test which of you is best in deeds. And He is the Almighty, All-Forgiving. (67.2) But there is forgiveness and a great reward for those who fear their Lord though they cannot see Him. (67.12) He is the One Who smoothed out the earth for you, so move about in its regions and eat from His provisions. And to Him is the Resurrection. (67.15) Do you feel secure that the One Who is in heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up as it quakes violently? (67.16) Nūn , by the pen and what they write. (68.1) Then do not obey the deniers. They want you to compromise with them and then they will compromise with you.  And do not obey any contemptible one who swears much, the fault-finder who goes around slandering, the hinderer of good,1 the transgressor, the sinful, harsh, and after all that, notorious. Just because he has wealth and sons. (68.8) Wait patiently for your Lord’s judgement: do not be like the man in the whale who called out in distress....

On the Day Allah resurrects them all together, He will then inform them of what they have done. Allah has kept account of it all, while they have forgotten it. For Allah is a Witness over all things. (58.6) Conspiracy is only of the devil, that he may vex those who believe; but he can harm them not at all unless by Allah's leave. In Allah let believers put their trust. (58.10) O believers! When you are told to make room in gatherings, then do so. Allah will make room for you. And if you are told to rise, then do so. Allah will elevate those of you who are faithful, and those gifted with knowledge in rank. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.(58.11) Have you not seen those who ally themselves with a people with whom Allah is displeased? They are neither with you nor with them. And they swear to lies knowingly. (58.14) You will never find a people who truly believe in Allah and the Last Day loyal to those who defy Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their parents, children, ...

We built the universe with might, and We are certainly expanding it. (51.47) And We have spread out the earth: How excellently We do spread out! (51.48) And We created pairs of all things so perhaps you would be mindful. (51.49) So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. But continue to remind. For certainly reminders benefit the believers. (51.54-55) Reclining on ranged couches. And we wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. (52.20) Devoted youths like hidden pearls wait on them. (52.24) They will say: “When we were living before among our kinsfolk we lived in constant fear. So Allah has graced us and protected us from the torment of scorching heat. We used to pray to Him before. He is surely the Most-Kind, the Very-Merciful." (52.26-28) So be patient with your Lord’s decree, for you are truly under Our Eyes. And glorify the praises of your Lord when you rise. And glorify Him during part of the night and at the fading of the stars. (52.48-49) So turn...

Surely, those who say, “Our Lord is Allah” and then stay firm, they will have no fear, nor shall they grieve. (46.13) We have commanded man to be good to his parents: his mother struggled to carry him and struggled to give birth to him- his bearing and weaning took a full thirty months. When he has grown to manhood and reached the age of forty he say, ‘Lord, help me to be truly grateful for Your favours to me and to my parents; help me to do good work that pleases You; make my offspring good. I turn to You; I am one of those who devote themselves to You.’ (46.15) Everyone will be ranked according to their deeds and God will repay them in full for what they have done: they will not be wronged. (46.17) So endure patiently, as did the Messengers of Firm Resolve. (46.35) Are they only waiting for the Hour to take them by surprise? Yet some of its signs have already come. Once it actually befalls them, will it not be too late to be mindful? (46.18) Would you then, if you were given the auth...

He has appointed for you pairs of your own kind, and pairs also of cattle. By this means does He multiply you. (42.11) To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. He gives abundant or limited provisions to whoever He wills. Indeed, He has knowledge of all things. (42.12) He has prescribed for you the religion which He enjoined upon Noah and which We revealed to you and which We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus, commanding: “Establish this religion and do not split up regarding it.” What you are calling to is very hard upon those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. Allah chooses for Himself whomsoever He pleases and guides to Himself whoever penitently turns to Him (42.13) So to that invite and remain on a right course as you are commanded and do not follow their inclinations but say, "I have believed in what Allāh has revealed of scripture, and I have been commanded to do justice among you. Allāh is our Lord and your Lord. For us are our deeds, and f...

God takes the souls of the dead and the souls of the living while they sleep. He keeps hold of those whose death He has ordained and sends the others back until their appointed time. Surely, in this, there are signs for a people who ponder. (39:42) And when adversity touches man, he calls upon Us. Then when We bestow on him a favor from Us, he says, "I have only been given it because of my knowledge." Rather, it is a trial, but most of them do not know. (39.49) Do they not know that Allah gives abundant or limited provisions to whoever He wills? Surely in this are signs for people who believe. (39.52) Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allāh. Indeed, Allāh forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful. Turn to your Lord. Submit to Him before the punishment overtakes you and you can no longer be helped. And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment com...

Holy is He Who created all things in pairs, whether it be of what the earth produces, and of themselves, and of what they do not know. (36.36) If We willed, We could drown them: then no one would respond to their cries, nor would they be rescued—except by mercy from Us, allowing them enjoyment for a while. (36.42-43) And when it is said to them, “Donate from what Allah has provided for you,” the disbelievers say to the believers, “Why should we feed those whom Allah could have fed if He wanted to? You are clearly astray!” (36.47) They must be awaiting a single Blast, which will seize them while they are in disputes. (36.49) On that Day no soul will be wronged in the least, nor will you be rewarded except for what you used to do. (36.54) We have not taught him poetry, nor is it fitting for him. This is only a Reminder and a clear Quran. (36.69) and will only be rewarded for what you used to do. (37.39) And with them are those of modest gaze, with lovely eyes, as if they were eggs closel...

Wives of the Prophet, you are not like any other woman. If you are truly mindful of God, do not speak too softly in case the sick at heart should lust after you, but speak in an appropriate manner. Remain in your homes, and do not display your beauty as it used to be displayed in the days of earlier ignorance; and establish Salāh, and pay Zakāh, and obey Allah and His messenger. Allah only intends to keep all sorts of filth away from you, O members of the family, and to make you pure through a perfect purification. (33.32-33) And do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites and disregard their annoyance, and rely upon Allāh. And sufficient is Allāh as Disposer of affairs. (33.48) O believers! If you marry believing women and then divorce them before you touch them, they will have no waiting period for you to count, so give them a compensation, and let them go graciously. (33.49) Indeed, Allah showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O believers! Invoke A...

Do not debate with the people of the Book unless it is in the best manner, except with those of them who commit injustice. And say, “We believe in what is sent down to us and sent down to you, and our God and your God is One, and to Him we submit.” (29.46) As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, We shall accommodate them in mansions of the Paradise beneath which rivers flow, where they will live forever. Excellent is the reward of the workers, those who patiently endure, and put their trust in their Lord! (29.58-59) Allah extends provision to whom He wills from His servants, and straitens it. Surely Allah knows every thing well. (29.62) This life of the world is but a pastime and a game. Lo! the home of the Hereafter - that is Life, if they but knew. (29.64) And who does more wrong than those who fabricate lies against Allah or reject the truth after it has reached them? (29.68) As for those who struggle in Our cause, We will surely guide them along Our Way. And Allah is certa...

So rely upon Allāh; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. (27.79) You certainly cannot make the dead hear. Nor can you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs and walk away. Nor can you lead the blind out of their misguidance. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our revelations, submitting. (27.80-81) When the word will come to fall upon them, We will bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them that the human beings did not believe in Our signs. (27.82) When they come before their Lord, He will ask them, “Did you deny My revelations without even comprehending them? Or what exactly did you do?” (27.84) And you see the mountains, thinking them motionless, while they will pass as the passing of clouds. It is the work of Allāh, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Aware of that which you do. (27.88) When he set out towards Madyan, he said, “I hope my Lord will guide me to the straight path”. (28.22) So he watered their herd for them, ...

18032025q19

On the Day when the sky and its clouds are split apart and the angels sent down in streams, true authority on that Day will belong only to the Most Compassionate. And it will be a hard day for the disbelievers. On that Day the evildoer will bite his own hand and say, ‘If only I had taken the same path as the Messenger. Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend. Indeed he led me astray from the advice after it had come to me.” And the Satan is man’s betrayer. (25.25-29) The Messenger has cried, “O my Lord! My people have indeed received this Quran with neglect.” (25.30) Said those who disbelieved, “Why has the Qur’ān not been revealed to him all at once?” It has been sent down in this way so that We make your heart firm, and We revealed it little by little. (25.32) Have you seen the one who has taken their own desires as their god? Will you then be a keeper over them? (25.43) So do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with it a great striving. (25.52) And ...
