And splendid companions, well matched (78.33)

A provision for you and for your cattle. (79.33)

Then as for those who transgressed and preferred the worldly life.Then indeed, Hellfire will be his refuge.

Whereas for the one who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained his self from the desire. Then indeed, Paradise will be his refuge. (79.37-41)

On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed no more than one evening or one morning. (79.46)

and then made the course of life easy for him (80.20)

Yet man does not fulfil God’s commands (80.23)

and cause the soil to split open (80.26)

all this as a provision for you and your cattle (80.32)

Mankind, what has lured you away from God. Who created you, fashioned you, and perfected your design. Moulding you in whatever form He willed? (82.6-8)

Woe to those that deal in fraud. Those who take full measure when they buy from people, but give less when they measure or weigh for buyers. (83.1-3)

whose last sip will smell like musk. So let whoever aspires to this strive. (83.26)

Indeed, the wicked used to laugh at the believers. And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances. Joke about them when they got back to their own people. And when they saw them, they would say, "Indeed, those are truly lost." While they were not sent as watchmen over them.

But on that Day the believers will be laughing at the disbelievers. (83.29-34)

you will progress from stage to stage (84.19)

And who destined and guided (87.3)

So remind, if reminding will help. (87.9)

But you prefer the worldly life, even though the Hereafter is far better and more lasting. (87.16-19)

So warn them: your only task is to give warning (88.21)

I swear by the dawn, by the Ten Nights, by the even and the odd, and by the night when it departs. (89.1-4)

No! But you do not honour the orphan, nor do you urge one another to feed the poor. And greedily devour the entire inheritance. And you love wealth with immense love. (89.17-20)

and I swear by the parent and his offspring (90.3)

And what do you know what that difficult steep is? It is to free a slave, or to give food in times of famine to an orphaned relative or to a needy person in misery and—above all—to be one of those who have faith and urge each other to perseverance and urge each other to compassion. (90.12-17)

Certainly, your efforts and deeds are diverse (92.4)

and his wealth shall be of no avail to him when he perishes (92.11)

Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor does He hate you.

Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. And of course, your Lord will give you so much that you will be pleased. 

Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? And He found you lost and guided. Did He not find you in need and make you self-sufficient?

So do not oppress the orphan. And as for the petitioner, do not scold him.

And about the bounty of your Lord, do talk. (93.3-11)


Have We not uplifted your heart for you? Relieved you of the burden which weighed so heavily on your back. And raised high for you, your repute.

So, surely with hardship comes ease. Undoubtedly, along with the hardship there is ease.

The moment you are freed of one task, work on.

And to your Lord Alone turn all your intentions and hopes. (94.1-8)

Indeed, We created humans in the best form. (95.4)

Have you seen the man who prevents a servant of Ours from praying? What if this servant is rightly guided, or encourages righteousness? What if that man persists in denial and turns away? (96.9-13)

No! Do not obey him. Bow down in worship and draw close. (96.19)

Their reward with their Lord will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allāh being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord. (98.8)

he is truly excessive in his love of wealth. (100.8)

So as for those whose scale is heavy, they will be in a life of bliss. And as for those whose scale is light, their home will be the abyss. (101.6-9)

Striving for more distracts you, until you reach the graves. (102.1-2)

Indeed, mankind is in loss, except those who have faith, do good, and urge each other to the truth, and urge each other to perseverance. (103.2-3)

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer, who accumulates wealth and counts it. Thinking that their wealth will make them immortal! Not at all! Such a person will certainly be tossed into the Crusher. (104.1-4)

Have you seen the one who denies the Judgment?

Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, and does not encourage the feeding of the poor.

So woe to those who pray, but are heedless of their prayer who do good only to show off, and refuse to give aid. (107)

We have truly given abundance to you. So offer Prayer and sacrifice to your Lord alone. It is the one who hates you who has been cut off. (108

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of whatever He has created, and from the evil of the night when it grows dark. And from the evil of the blowers in knots. and from the evil of an envier when they envy." (113)

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The Sovereign of mankind, The God of mankind, From the evil of the sneaking whisperer, who whispers into the hearts of humankind. From among the jinn and mankind" (114)
