Surely, those who say, “Our Lord is Allah” and then stay firm, they will have no fear, nor shall they grieve. (46.13)
We have commanded man to be good to his parents: his mother struggled to carry him and struggled to give birth to him- his bearing and weaning took a full thirty months. When he has grown to manhood and reached the age of forty he say, ‘Lord, help me to be truly grateful for Your favours to me and to my parents; help me to do good work that pleases You; make my offspring good. I turn to You; I am one of those who devote themselves to You.’ (46.15)
Everyone will be ranked according to their deeds and God will repay them in full for what they have done: they will not be wronged. (46.17)
So endure patiently, as did the Messengers of Firm Resolve. (46.35)
Are they only waiting for the Hour to take them by surprise? Yet some of its signs have already come. Once it actually befalls them, will it not be too late to be mindful? (46.18)
Would you then, if you were given the authority, do mischief in the land, and sever your ties of kinship? (47.22)
Then, do they not give serious thought to the Qur’ān, or do they have locks on their hearts? (47.24)
Had We willed, We could have truly shown them to you and you would have certainly recognized them by their appearance. But you will surely recognize them by their tone of speech. God knows everything you do. (47.30)
We shall test you to see which of you strive your hardest and are steadfast; We shall test the sincerity of your assertions. (47.31)
The life of this world is only a game, a pastime, but if you believe and are mindful of God, He will recompense you and will not ask you your wealth. (47.36)
O you who believe, if a sinful person comes to you with any news, verify it, lest you should harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful for what you have done. (48.6)
And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allāh. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allāh loves those who act justly.
The believers are but one brotherhood, so make peace between your brothers. And be mindful of Allah so you may be shown mercy. (49.9-10)
O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule people; perhaps they may be better than them. (49:11)
Do not defame one another, nor call each other by offensive nicknames. (49:11)
O believers! Avoid many suspicions, indeed, some suspicions are sinful. And do not be curious to find out faults of others, and do not backbite one another. Does one of you like that he eats the flesh of his dead brother? You would abhor it. And fear Allah. Surely Allah is the Accepter of Repentance, Most Merciful. (49.12)
Human beings, We created you all from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Surely the noblest of you, in Allah’s sight, is the one who is most pious of you. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware. (49.13)
The nomadic Arabs say, “We believe.” Say, “You have not believed. But say, ‘We have submitted,’ for faith has not yet entered your hearts. (49.14)
The believers are only the ones who have believed in Allāh and His Messenger and then doubt not but strive with their properties and their lives in the cause of Allāh. It is those who are the truthful. (49.15)
Did they not, then, look to the sky above them, how We have built it and beautified it, and it has no cracks? (50.6)
‘Hurl every obstinate disbeliever into Hell. Who hinders good, exceeds the limits, is immersed in doubts' (50.24-25)
So be patient with what they say. And glorify the praises of your Lord before sunrise and before sunset. (50.39)
We know well what they say, and you are not sent as one who compels them. So remind with the Quran, those who fear My warning. (50.45)
Certainly, you have different ideas. (51.8)
Indeed, they were before that doers of good. They used to sleep but little of the night. And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness. And in their properties there was the right of the Sâ’il (the beggar who asks) and the Mahrûm (the poor who does not ask others). (51.16-19)
