We built the universe with might, and We are certainly expanding it. (51.47)
And We have spread out the earth: How excellently We do spread out! (51.48)
And We created pairs of all things so perhaps you would be mindful. (51.49)
So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. But continue to remind. For certainly reminders benefit the believers. (51.54-55)
Reclining on ranged couches. And we wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. (52.20)
Devoted youths like hidden pearls wait on them. (52.24)
They will say: “When we were living before among our kinsfolk we lived in constant fear. So Allah has graced us and protected us from the torment of scorching heat. We used to pray to Him before. He is surely the Most-Kind, the Very-Merciful." (52.26-28)
So be patient with your Lord’s decree, for you are truly under Our Eyes. And glorify the praises of your Lord when you rise.
And glorify Him during part of the night and at the fading of the stars. (52.48-49)
So turn away from whoever has shunned Our Reminder, only seeking the life of this world. This is the extent of their knowledge. Surely your Lord knows best who has strayed from His Way and who is rightly guided. (53.29-30)
To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth so that He may reward the evildoers according to what they did, and reward the good-doers with the finest reward. Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only committing slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure. He is most knowing of who fears Him. (53.31-32)
Or has he not been informed of what is in the Scripture of Moses, and of Ibrāhīm who fulfilled? That no burdened person shall bear the burden of another. And that a man shall not deserve but the reward of his own effort. And that his effort will be seen. Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense. (53.36-41)
And that it is He who enriches and suffices (53.48)
We have made it easy to learn lessons from the Quran: will anyone take heed? (54.22) (54.32) (54.40)
We have created everything in a determined measure. (54.49)
and He has raised up the heaven and has set a balance. That you not transgress within the balance. Weigh with justice and do not fall short in the balance. (55.7-9)
O assembly of jinn and humans! If you can penetrate beyond the realms of the heavens and the earth, then do so. You cannot penetrate without power. (55.33)
When the sky is torn apart and turns crimson, like red hide. (55.37)
And for the one who is fearful of having to stand before his Lord, there are two gardens (55.46)
Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. (55.56)
And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. Dark-green in colour. (55.62, 64)
In all Gardens will be noble, pleasant mates. (55.70)
Fair ones reserved in pavilions. (55.72)
And there will be Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes. (56.22)
Indeed, We will have perfectly created their mates. And made them virgins. Intensely loving and of matching age. For the people of the right. Comprising many from the first generations, and many from later generations. (56.35-40)
They will dwell amid scorching wind and scalding water. And a shade of thick, pitch-black smoke. Neither cool nor refreshing. Indeed, before this they were spoiled by luxury, and used to persist in major sins. (56.42-46)
Have you considered the water you drink? Is it you who bring it down from the clouds, or is it We Who do so? If We wanted, We could make it salty. Will you not be thankful? (56.68-70)
So, I swear by the setting places of the stars. And verily that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. (56.75-76)
He is the One Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then established Himself on the Throne. He knows whatever goes into the earth and whatever comes out of it, and whatever descends from the sky and whatever ascends into it. And He is with you wherever you are. For Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. (57.4)
Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and donate from what He has entrusted you with. So those of you who believe and donate will have a mighty reward. (57.7)
Why should you not give for God’s cause when God alone will inherit what is in the heavens and earth? Those who gave and fought before the triumph are not like others: they are greater in rank than those who gave and fought afterwards. But God has promised a good reward to all of them: God is fully aware of all that you do. (57.10)
Has the time not yet come for those who believe that their hearts should be humble for the remembrance of Allah and for the truth that has descended? They must not be like those to whom the Book was given before, but a long period passed on them, therefore their hearts became hard, and thus many of them are sinners. (57.16)
Know that this worldly life is no more than play, amusement, luxury, mutual boasting, and competition in wealth and children. This is like rain that causes plants to grow, to the delight of the planters. But later the plants dry up and you see them wither, then they are reduced to chaff. And in the Hereafter there will be either severe punishment or forgiveness and pleasure of Allah, whereas the life of this world is no more than the delusion of enjoyment. (57.20)
So compete with one another for forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah and His messengers. This is the favour of Allah. He grants it to whoever He wills. And Allah is the Lord of infinite bounty. (57.21)
No calamity occurs on earth or in yourselves without being written in a Record before We bring it into being. This is certainly easy for Allah. So that you may neither grieve on what has escaped you, nor over-exult on what He has given to you. And Allah does not love any self-admirer, over-proud. Those who are stingy and promote stinginess among people
And whoever turns away, then Allah is the All-Independent, the Ever-Praised. (57.22-24)
Indeed, We sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and with them We sent down the Scripture and the balance so that people may administer justice. And We sent down iron with its great might, benefits for humanity, and means for Allah to prove who is willing to stand up for Him and His messengers without seeing Him. Surely Allah is All-Powerful, Almighty. (57.25)
Then in the footsteps of these prophets, We sent Our messengers, and after them We sent Jesus, son of Mary, and granted him the Gospel, and instilled compassion and mercy into the hearts of his followers. As for monasticism, they made it up—We never ordained it for them—only seeking to please Allah, yet they did not even observe it strictly. So We rewarded those of them who were faithful. But most of them are rebellious. (57.27)
Believers, be mindful of God and have faith in His Messenger: He will give you a double share of His mercy; He will provide a light to help you walk; He will forgive you- God is most forgiving, most merciful.
Rhis is so that the People of the Book may know that they do not have any control over Allah’s grace, and that all grace is in Allah’s Hands. He grants it to whoever He wills. For Allah is the Lord of infinite bounty. (57.28-29)
