So rely upon Allāh; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. (27.79)

You certainly cannot make the dead hear. Nor can you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs and walk away. Nor can you lead the blind out of their misguidance. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our revelations, submitting. (27.80-81)

When the word will come to fall upon them, We will bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them that the human beings did not believe in Our signs. (27.82)

When they come before their Lord, He will ask them, “Did you deny My revelations without even comprehending them? Or what exactly did you do?” (27.84)

And you see the mountains, thinking them motionless, while they will pass as the passing of clouds. It is the work of Allāh, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Aware of that which you do. (27.88)

When he set out towards Madyan, he said, “I hope my Lord will guide me to the straight path”. (28.22)

So he watered their herd for them, then withdrew to the shade and prayed, “My Lord! I am truly in need of whatever provision You may have in store for me.”

Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness. She said, "Indeed, my father invites you that he may reward you for having watered for us." So when he came to him and related to him the story, he said, "Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing people."

One of the two daughters suggested, “O my dear father! Hire him. A strong, trustworthy person is definitely the best to hire.”

The old man proposed, “I wish to marry one of these two daughters of mine to you, provided that you stay in my service for eight years. If you complete ten, it will be a favour from you, but I do not wish to make it difficult for you. Allah willing, you will find me an agreeable man.”

Moses responded, “Then it is settled between you and I. Whichever of the two terms I fulfill, there should be no excess against me, and Allah is witness to what we are saying.” (28.24-28)

So if they fail to respond to you, then know that they only follow their desires. And who could be more astray than those who follow their desires with no guidance from Allah? Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. (28.50)

Such people will be given their reward twice, because they observed patience. And they repel evil with good, and spend from what We have given to them.

And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say, "For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace will be upon you; We do not seek the company of ignorant people" (28.54-55)

You cannot give guidance to whomsoever you wish, but Allah gives guidance to whomsoever He wills, and He best knows the ones who are on the right path. (28.56)

Your Lord would never destroy a society until He had sent to its capital a messenger, reciting Our revelations to them. Nor would We ever destroy a society unless its people persisted in wrongdoing. (28.59)

Qarun was one of Moses’ people, but he oppressed them. We had given him such treasures that even their keys would have weighed down a whole company of strong men. His people said to him, ‘Do not gloat, for God does not like people who gloat. (28.76)

Seek the life to come by means of what God has granted you, but do not neglect your rightful share in this world. Do good to others as God has done good to you. Do not seek to spread corruption in the land, for God does not love those who do this. (28.77)

He replied, “I have been granted all this because of some knowledge I have." Did he not know that God had destroyed many generations before him, who had greater power than him and built up greater wealth? The guilty will not be questioned about their sins. (28.78)

He went out among his people in all his pomp, and those whose aim was the life of this world said, ‘If only we had been given something like what Qarun has been given: he really is a very fortunate man,’ But those gifted with knowledge said, “Shame on you! Allah’s reward is far better for those who believe and do good. But none will attain this except the steadfast.”

Then We caused the earth to swallow him up, along with his home. There was no one to help him against Allah, nor could he even help himself.

And those who had envied his position the day before began to say on the morrow: "Ah! it is indeed Allah Who enlarges the provision or restricts it, to any of His servants He pleases! had it not been that Allah was gracious to us, He could have caused the earth to swallow us up! Ah! those who reject Allah will assuredly never prosper." (28.79-82)

So do not lend any support to the unbelievers (28.86)

Do not let them turn you away from the revelations of Allah after they have been sent down to you. Rather, invite all to your Lord. And never be of those who associate others with Allāh. (28.87)

Do people think that they will be left only on their saying, “We believe” and will not be put to any test? We certainly tested those before them. And in this way Allah will clearly distinguish between those who are truthful and those who are liars. (29.2-3)

We have commanded people to honour their parents. But if they urge you to associate with Me what you have no knowledge of, then do not obey them. To Me you will return, and then I will inform you of what you used to do. (29.8)

So seek provision with Allah and worship Him and be grateful to Him. To Him you are to be returned. (29.17)

And We granted him IsHāq and Ya‘qūb, and assigned prophet-hood and Book to his progeny, and gave him his reward in the world; and of course, in the Hereafter, he will be one of the righteous. (29.27)

And to the people of Midian We sent their brother Shu’aib. He said, “O my people! Worship Allah, and hope for the Last Day. And do not go about spreading corruption in the land.” (29.36)

And the people of ’Ȃd and Thamûd, which must be clear to you from their ruins. Satan made their deeds appealing to them, hindering them from the Way, although they were capable of reasoning. (29:38)

So We seized each for their sin: against some of them We sent a storm of stones, some were overtaken by a blast, some We caused the earth to swallow, and some We drowned. Allah would not have wronged them, but it was they who wronged themselves. (29.40)

Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer should deter from indecency and wickedness. The remembrance of Allah is even greater. And Allah knows what you do. (29.45)
