That morning started with a simple plan: get breakfast. Just a short 250-meter walk from home to the food stall. I was hoping to eat there, but turns out it was still too early. They don’t serve dine-in until 8 a.m., and I was there well before that. So, breakfast in hand, I walked the same 250 meters back home. Next on the agenda: a visit to an office building, about 2.3 kilometers away. When I got there, surprise! The document I needed wasn’t there — it was actually at another building that didn’t open until 1 p.m. It was only 10 a.m. at the time, so I figured I’d kill a few hours at the library. Walked a good 1 km to get there. At the library, I passed the time flipping through Kompas, Pikiran Rakyat, and Tempo. Just the classics.
