Successful indeed are the believers. Who concentrate their attention in humbleness when offering Salāh, who keep themselves away from vain things, who pay alms-tax, who guard their chastity -- except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed but whoever seeks beyond that are the transgressors --, who are faithful to their trusts and pledges, who consistently observe their prayers. Those are the inheritors. Who will inherit al-Firdaus.They will abide therein eternally. (23.1-11)

And say: My Lord! Cause me to land at a blessed landing-place, for Thou art Best of all who bring to land. (23.29)

Messengers, eat good things and do good deeds: I am well aware of what you do. (23.51)

This community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord; so hold Me alone in fear. Yet the people have divided it into different sects, each rejoicing in what they have. So leave them in their error till a time. (23.52-54)

Do they think, since We provide them with wealth and children, is because We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive. (23.55-56)

Verily those who live in awe for fear of their Lord, who believe in the signs of their Lord, who do not associate anything with their Lord, and who do whatever good they do with their hearts fearful, knowing that they will return to their Lord, are the ones who race toward good things, and they will be the first to get them. (23.57-61)

We do not burden any soul with more than it can bear- We have a Record that tells the truth- they will not be wronged. (23.62)

Have they not contemplated the Word of God? (23.68)

Repel evil in the best manner. (23.96)

Did you then think that We had created you without purpose, and that you would never be returned to Us? (23.115)

A male fornicator would only marry a female fornicator or idolatress. And a female fornicator would only be married to a fornicator or idolater. This is all forbidden to the believers (24.3)

Indeed, those who came up with that outrageous slander are a group of you. Do not think this is bad for you. Rather, it is good for you. They will be punished, each according to their share of the sin. As for their mastermind, he will suffer a tremendous punishment.

If only the believing men and women had thought well of one another, when you heard this rumour and said, “This is clearly an outrageous slander!”

Why did they not produce four witnesses? Now, since they have failed to produce witnesses, they are truly liars in the sight of Allah. Had it not been for Allah’s grace and mercy upon you in this world and the Hereafter, you would have certainly been touched with a tremendous punishment for what you plunged into.

Just think, how wrong you were when one tongue received it from another and you uttered with your mouths something you knew nothing about. You deemed it to be a trifle while in the sight of Allah it was a serious matter. If only you had said upon hearing it, “How can we speak about such a thing! Glory be to You O Lord! This is a heinous slander!”

Allah forbids you from ever doing something like this again, if you are true believers. (24.11-17)

Indeed, those who love to see indecency spread among the believers will suffer a painful punishment in this life and the Hereafter. Allah knows and you do not know. (24.19)

Do not let the people of virtue and affluence among you swear to suspend donations to their relatives, the needy, and the emigrants in the cause of Allah. Let them pardon and forgive. Do you not love to be forgiven by Allah? And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (24.22)

O believers! Do not enter any house other than your own until you have asked for permission and greeted its occupants. This is best for you, so perhaps you will be mindful.

If you find no one at home, do not enter it until you have been given permission. And if you are asked to leave, then leave. That is purer for you. And Allah has perfect knowledge of what you do.

There is no sin on you if you enter uninhabited houses in which you have rightful benefit. Allah knows what you reveal and what you conceal. (24.27-29)

Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments except what normally appears.

Let them draw their veils over their chests, and not reveal their adornments except to their husbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their sons, their stepsons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, their fellow women, those in their possession, male attendants with no desire, or children who are still unaware of women’s nakedness.

And let them not stamp their feet in a way that the adornment they conceal is known.

And repent to Allah O believers, all of you, so that you may achieve success. (24.30-31)

Marry off the singles among you, as well as the righteous of your bondmen and bondwomen. If they are poor, Allah will enrich them out of His bounty. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.

But let them who find not the means for marriage abstain from sexual relations until Allāh enriches them from His bounty. (24.33)

Allah has promised those of you who believe and do good that He will certainly make them successors in the land, as He did with those before them; and will surely establish for them their faith which He has chosen for them; and will indeed change their fear into security. They worship Me, associating nothing with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this, it is they who will be the rebellious. (24.55)

O believers! Let those in your possession and those of you who are still under age ask for your permission to come in at three times: before dawn prayer, when you take off your clothes at noon, and after the late evening prayer. These are three times of privacy for you. Other than these times, there is no blame on you or them to move freely, attending to one another. This is how Allah makes the revelations clear to you, for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

When your children reach puberty, they should always ask your permission to enter, like their elders do. This is how God makes His messages clear to you: God is all knowing, all wise.(24.58-59)

So when you enter homes, greet one another with Salām , a greeting prescribed by Allah, which is blessed, pleasant. (24.61)

And We have made some of you as trial for others - will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing. (25.20)
