Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and we made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe? (21.30)
and We made the sky a well-secured canopy- yet from its wonders they turn away. (21.32)
Every soul is certain to taste death: We test you all through the bad and the good, and to Us you will all return. (21.35)
We made all of them leaders, guiding others by Our command, and We inspired them to do good works, to keep up the prayer, and to give alms: they were Our true worshippers. (21.73)
Verily this community of yours is a single community, and I am your Lord; so worship Me.Yet the people have divided it into sects. But to Us they will all return. So, whoever does righteous deeds, while he is a believer, his effort will not be rejected, and We are to put it on record. (21.92-94)
On that Day We shall roll up the heavens like a scroll for writing. Even as We originated the creation first so We shall repeat it. This is a promise binding on Us; and so We shall do. (21.104)
We wrote in the Psalms, as We did in earlier Scripture: ‘My righteous servants will inherit the earth.’ (21.105)
We have sent you only as a mercy for the whole world. (21.107)
Among the people there is one who debates about Allah without knowledge, and follows every rebellious Satan. (22.3)
Among men there is one who debates about Allah with no knowledge, no guidance and no enlightening book, turning scornfully aside to lead others away from God’s path. Disgrace in this world awaits such a person and, on the Day of Resurrection, We shall make him taste the suffering of the Fire. (22.8-9)
There are also some who serve God with unsteady faith: if something good comes their way, they are satisfied, but if they are tested, they revert to their old ways, losing both this world and the next- that is the clearest loss. (22.11)
Indeed, Allāh will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. Indeed, Allāh does what He intends. (22.14)
As for the disbelievers, who bar others from God’s path and from the Sacred Mosque- which We made for all people, residents and visitors alike- and who try to violate it with wrongdoing, We shall make them taste a painful punishment. (22.25)
For every community We appointed a rite of sacrifice so that they may pronounce the Name of Allah over the sacrificial animals He has provided for them. For your God is only One God, so submit yourselves to Him. And give good news to the humble: those whose hearts are filled with awe when Allah is remembered, and who observe patience against whatever befalls them, and who are steadfast in Salāh, and who spend out of what We have given to them. (22.34-35)
We have made camels part of God’s sacred rites for you. There is much good in them for you, so invoke God’s name over them as they are lined up for sacrifice, then, when they have fallen down dead, feed yourselves and those who do not ask, as well as those who do. We have subjected them to you in this way so that you may be thankful. Neither their meat nor blood reaches Allah. Rather, it is your piety that reaches Him. This is how He has subjected them to you so that you may proclaim the greatness of Allah for what He has guided you to, and give good news to the good-doers. (22.36-37)
Permission is granted to those being fought, for they have been wronged. And Allah is truly Most Capable of helping them.
Those who have been driven unjustly from their homes only for saying, ‘Our Lord is God.’ If God did not repel some people by means of others, many monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, where God’s name is much invoked, would have been destroyed. God is sure to help those who help His cause- God is strong and mighty.
Those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish prayer and give zakāh and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And to Allāh belongs the outcome of [all] matters. (22.39-41)
They ask you to bring the punishment sooner, while Allah will never go back on His promise. In fact, one day with your Lord is like one thousand years according to your calculation. (22.47)
For every community We appointed a code of life to follow. So do not let them dispute with you in this matter. And invite to your Lord, for you are truly on the Right guidance. But if they argue with you, then say, “Allah knows best what you do.”
Allah will judge between you, on the Day of Judgment, about what you used to dispute. (22.67-69)
O you who believe, bow down in Rukū‘ and bow down in Sajdah, and worship your Lord and do good deeds, so that you achieve success. Strive in the cause of Allah in a manner worthy of that striving. He has chosen you and He has not laid upon you any hardship in religion. Keep to the faith of your father Abraham. Allah named you Muslims earlier and even in this, that the Messenger may be a witness over you, and that you may be witnesses over all mankind. So establish Prayer, and pay Zakah, and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector. What an excellent Protector; what an excellent Helper! (22.77-78)
