They said, “We have given to you the good news of a fact. So do not be one of those who lose hope.” He said, “Who can lose hope in the mercy of his Lord except those who have lost the straight path?” (15.55-56)
We have not created the heavens and the earth and everything in between except for a purpose. And the Hour is certain to come, so forgive graciously. (15.85)
Do not look longingly at the good things We have given some to enjoy. Do not grieve for them, and be kind to believers in humbleness. (15.88)
and say, ‘I am here to give plain warning,’ (15.89)
As We have sent down on the dividers, Those who break the Qur'an into parts. (15.90-91)
We certainly know that their statements sorely grieve you. (15.97)
And He creates many things that you do not even know about. (16.8)
God points out the right path, for some paths lead the wrong way: if He wished, He could guide you all. (16.9)
And there are also Signs for those who take heed in the numerous things of various colours that He has created for you on earth. (16.13)
Those who have migrated for the sake of Allah after they were oppressed, We shall give them a good place in the world, and of course, the reward of the Hereafter is much greater, if they only knew! They who have patiently endured, and in their Lord they put their trust. (16:41-42)
Do those who devise evil plots feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them? Or that the torment will not come upon them in ways they cannot comprehend? Or that He will not seize them while they go about their day, for then they will have no escape? Or that He will not destroy them gradually? But your Lord is truly Ever Gracious, Most Merciful. (16.45-47)
Your Lord revealed to the honeybee: “Make homes in the mountains, in the trees and in the structures they raise. Then, eat from all the fruits, and go along the pathways of your Lord made easy for you.” From their bellies comes out a drink of various colors in which there is cure for people. Surely, in that there is a sign for a people who ponder. (16.68-69)
Allah has given some of you preference over others in provision. (16.71)
Allah has full knowledge of the truths beyond the reach of perception both in the heavens and the earth. The coming of the Hour of Judgement is like the blink of an eye, or even quicker: God has power over everything. (16.77)
For those who disbelieve and hinder others from the Way of Allah, We will add more punishment to their punishment for all the corruption they spread. (16.88)
God commands justice, doing good, and generosity towards relatives and He forbids what is shameful, blameworthy, and oppressive. He teaches you, so that you may take heed. (16.90)
Fulfill the Covenant of Allah when you pledge, and do not break oaths after you swear them solemnly, while you have made Allah a witness over you. Surely, Allah knows all that you do. (16.91)
And He will surely make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that over which you used to differ. (16.92)
If Allah so willed, He would have made all of you a single community, but He lets whom He wills go astray and takes whom He wills to the right path; and surely you will be questioned about what you used to do. (16.93)
Whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, We will surely bless them with a good life, and We will certainly reward them according to the best of their deeds. (16.97)
Whoever disbelieves in Allah after their belief—not those who are forced while their hearts are firm in faith, but those who embrace disbelief wholeheartedly—they will be condemned by Allah and suffer a tremendous punishment. This is because they prefer the life of this world over the Hereafter. Surely Allah never guides those who choose to disbelieve. They are the ones whose hearts, ears, and eyes are sealed by Allah, and it is they who are truly heedless. Without a doubt, they will be the losers in the Hereafter. (16.106-109)
Then lo! thy Lord - for those who became fugitives after they had been persecuted, and then fought and were steadfast - lo! thy Lord afterward is indeed Forgiving, Merciful. (16.110)
Do not say about what your tongues describe falsely, “This is lawful and that is unlawful” so that you may forge the lie upon Allah. Surely, those who forge a lie upon Allah do not prosper. A brief enjoyment will be theirs; and theirs a painful doom. (16.116-117)
The sabbath was only appointed for those who differed over it. And indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ. (16.124)
Invite to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance. (16.125)
If you retaliate, then let it be equivalent to what you have suffered. But if you patiently endure, it is certainly best for those who are patient. And be patient. Your patience is bestowed by none but Allah, and do not grieve over them, and do not be in distress for what they devise. for God is with those who are mindful of Him and who do good. (16.126-128)
