And thus We have placed within every city the greatest of its criminals to conspire therein. Yet they plot only against themselves, but they fail to perceive it. (6.123)
So, whomsoever Allah wills to guide, He makes his heart wide open for Islam. But whoever He wills to leave astray, He makes their chest tight and constricted as if they were climbing up into the sky. (6.125)
‘Company of jinn and mankind! Did messengers not come from among you to recite My revelations to you and warn that you would meet this Day?’ They will say, ‘We testify against ourselves.’ The life of this world seduced them, but they will testify against themselves that they rejected the truth. Those who associate partners with Allah will say, “Had Allah willed, we would have not associated partners with Him, nor our fathers, nor would we have made anything prohibited.” In the same way those who went before them rejected the truth until they tasted Our punishment. Say, “Do you have any sure knowledge that you may produce to us? You follow nothing but whims, and do nothing but make conjectures" (6.148)
Say, "Bring forward your witnesses who will testify that Allāh has prohibited this." And if they testify, do not testify with them. And do not follow the desires of those who deny Our verses and those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while they equate others with their Lord. (6.150)
Say, ‘Come! I will tell you what your Lord has really forbidden you. Do not ascribe anything as a partner to Him; be good to your parents; do not kill your children in fear of poverty’- We will provide for you and for them- ‘ stay well away from committing obscenities, whether openly or in secret; do not take the life God has made sacred, except by right. This is what He commands you to do: perhaps you will use your reason. (6.151)
And do not come near the wealth of the orphan—unless intending to enhance it—until they attain maturity. Give full measure and weigh with justice. We never require of any soul more than what it can afford. Whenever you speak, nmaintain justice—even regarding a close relative. And fulfil your covenant with Allah. This is what He has commanded you, so perhaps you will be mindful. (6.152)
Are they awaiting the coming of the angels, or your Lord Himself, or some of your Lord’s major signs? On the Day your Lord’s signs arrive, belief will not benefit those who did not believe earlier or those who did no good through their faith. Say, “Keep waiting! We too are waiting.” (6.158)
Surely, those who have made divisions in their religion and turned into factions, you have nothing to do with them. Their case rests with Allah alone; then He will tell them what they have been doing. (6.159)

How many towns We have destroyed! Our punishment came to them by night or while they slept in the afternoon. Their only cry—when overwhelmed by Our torment—was, “We have indeed been wrongdoers.” (7.4-5)
And the weighing that Day will be the truth. So those whose scales are heavy - it is they who will be the successful. But those whose scales are light, they are the ones who have brought loss to themselves, because they did not do justice to Our verses. (7.8-9)
We established you on earth, and created in it means of living for you. Little you appreciate. (7.10)
We created you, We gave you shape, and then We said to the angels, ‘Bow down before Adam,’ and they did. But not Iblis: he was not one of those who bowed down. (7.11)

Do you say about Allah what you do not know? (7.28)

Say, "Who has forbidden the adornment of Allāh which He has produced for His servants and the good things of provision?" Say, "They are for those who believed during the life of this world, exclusively for them on the Day of Resurrection." Thus do We detail the verses for a people who know. (7.32)

And do not lie in ambush on every road—threatening and hindering those who believe in Allah from His Path and striving to make it crooked. Remember when you were few, then He increased you in number.
